How would you like a Ford Shelby GT500 for just $25?
Well clearly you cannot, but what can get is the opportunity to own your very own Ford Shelby GT500, How? Well its the second annual “Win a Shelby” raffle organised by the Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation, which has been set up to raise funds for to provide assistance for acute coronary and kidney care for young people.
Last year the car was an aluminum-bodied Shelby Cobra CSX 1000, Carroll Shelby's personal car, and the raffle raised a staggering $485,000! All of which was given to the foundation, this years car is once again the personal car of Carroll Shelby and is a new Ford Shelby GT500 which is finished in blue and naturally has the twin white stripes through the middle of the car, otherwise known as performance stripes.
So what have you got to do? Each ticket is priced a $25, but if you feel lucky or charitable you can buy five tickets for $100!
