So you think you know where your car comes from? Its not as simple answer as you think, an extract from the Daily Telegraph reveals some facts about the manufacturing of cars.

The funny thing is... this guy NEVER heard from Brazil! Brazil makes VW Golf IV for the US, Polo Sedan and Fox for Europe, MB C-Class (from Minas Gerais to the US), A-Class and Sprinter (not made in Argentina!), also de Audi A3 is made in Paraná. In Brazil most of the cars are build there, for the internal market, and exported globally, specially for Mexico, China, Turkey and India. tiago@hotmail.de
