You may not think of this as making a statement of who you are, but imagine yourself as a stranger walk down a road looking for a certain address. As you check each house one by one they all have either just numbers or an address plaque. So you would want to make a positive impression, even if the stranger was not even looking for your house, the last thing that you need is a stranger thinking that you are weird or crazy, or maybe you do. Whatever image you wish to display to the neighbors and visitors to your street, you cannot do better than having a handmade address plaque that shows the world exactly who you are.
