The Fast and The Furious 3 - Tokyo Drift

Its a movie series that we all like poke fun at, but no matter how far it is from reality we will still go and watch it. I finally dragged my lazy self to watch this movie with the missus yesterday and boy, what an improvement it was from the 2nd installment.
TFATF3 actually had a decent storyline this time! Not just racing for big wads of cash and running from the law. Actaully, thats what this movie was about..but better. It had a couple scenes with genuine Japanese city backdrops which I just loved, and the cars in it were exceptional.
Cars were hot, girls were hot, and stereotypes ran hi! Bow Wow's character got introduced to viewers by having him peddling what seems to be stolen goods. Yakuza bosses in underground clubs with scantily clad women. The whole preppy rich kids make an appearance as well.
Excellent choice of cars included the Mitsubishi Evo 9 as the hero car, a horde of mean Nissan 350Z's as the antagonists choice, and a worked RX7 that suffers a tragic crash. It also keeps the muscle car fans happy, featuring a Mustang in its final race - with a bit of JDM flavour sporting a RB26DETT
Cool surprises that this movie includes are some cameo's from some reknowned professional drifters such as Rhys Millen and Keiichi Tsuchiya. Another cameo at the end but I won't spoil it for those that haven't seen it.
All in all, typical Fast and Furious style movie with over the top generalisations but still worth the watch.
