Mazda MX-5 goes HARD
Mazda's MX-5, current Car of the Year as judged by MOTOR Magazine is set to release a hard top version of their convertible.
The MX-5, often referenced by many as just a 'hairdressers' car is far from that. The FR layout combined with excellent weight distribution of the MX-5 makes it a great touge warrior. It has been one of my favourite cars and I would probably own one by now if it wern't for the 2 seater aspect.
The MX-5 has acheived cult status, with its shape changing very little from the 1980's, and winning Car of the Year numerous times. Mazda Japan unveiled the new MX-5 at the British International Motor Show held last weekend. It features an automatic hard top retractable roof which is great for people that want convertible cars without having a 'soft top'
It is also rumoured to be brought into Australia, at just a touch under $50,000 as well as a power upgrade that is going to be revealed closer to the date of release.
