Wheel Fever - by Craig Hill

Keeping your old classic on the road.

December 2nd 2006 19:13
Keeping your old classic on the road.

We have all seen those car adverts for classics, for us classics are cars that our fathers had, or those cars that we used to see on the way to school, now being in position to buy the car or your dreams the temptation can be all to much and for some the idea of buying the car that you first remember seeing and saying wow to, is a temptation that they are unable to resist.

So you have bought it! But now you find that it needs a few bits and pieces, so what do you do next?

Don't panic is the first thing there is help available you just need to know where, I will show some examples.

Ebay.

Swap Meets.

UK;

Publications.

Classic Motor

Buy Classic Cars

USA; Classic Car

Classic Car Clubs.

UK;

USA;

And of course all else fails there are always, the local junk yards! Not to be laughed at any more these places are potential gold mines for the owners and for those who seek them out. So check out the junk yards and car breakers in your area, you never know what you may find.
