Holden Captiva
September 19th 2006 07:07
Finally Holden is releasing a real competitor against Ford's Territory in the SUV category. The Captiva is infact a Daewoo S3X that has been modified to Holden standards. Being a Daewoo and built overseas it may be a bit of a worry, as we know how Daewoo suffered in Australia. But this sees to be the trend with Holden, importing modified Daewoos, sorry I mean new Holdens, such as the Barina and Viva from Korea.
The Captiva looks hot and wears the Holden badge. They will be in showrooms shortly and there is also the prospect of a turbo diesel engine in the future. I will surely be writing about this more once the Captiva hits the showroom floor.
