Electric cars means more electric usage.
Electric cars can accelerate climate change!!
We hear about how wonderful using electric cars are, especially popular are the ones that allow you to simply plug your car into your domestic electrical supply in your garage over night, so that when you are ready for work, there it is fully charged and ready to go, the applies for the hybrid vehicles such as the Toyota Prius, and other makes and models that are either on the road now or planned to be on the in 2007 or 2008.
Electric cars means more electric usage.
We are lead to believe that by using these vehicles that we are being kind to the planet and so on, yet one thing is being talked about and this will surly harm the hybrid and battery powered vehicles, the simple that that these cars are plugged into the mains electricity supply, means that the power stations have to produce more electricity to charge these vehicles up. The more of these vehicles that are on the road it stands to reason that the more power will be used and so on, until if in the US the amount of these reaches eighty five percent then at that stage the emissions from power stations would have risen by five percent, this is according to the US Department of Energy.
