Drinking and Driving.
It is coming up to that time of year again, when we start getting the the ads on the TV, radio and any other media possible telling us about the perils of drinking and driving. This has been problem ever since cars were invented, drink and cars do not mix and any form, it is hard enough driving on any day, but after you have had a few drinks! I do not even want to think about.
Yet here we are another Xmas season coming up, all those parties, and lunchtime drinks, then home in the car, of people say when they have had a drink they drive better, obviously not, it seems that they are driving better because they are under the influence of drink.
So, we have the party season, drinking and driving, but that is not all, if drinking an driving is such a taboo and so bad for everyone, then can someone tell me why we have pubs with huge car parks? It defies all logic that with all the campaigns going and that no one actually just speaks up and mentions the matter of the pub car parks, here you have drink on sale and some where to safely park your car, not a very good mix!!
